My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1045

I was puzzled too, "Could it be that he bought too many clothes for you and had brought the extra clothes back?

She shook her head, and her face was miserable. "Why would someone like him care enough about a piece of clothing to bring it all the way back here?"

What she said made sense but I still tried to reassure her. "Naomi, forget what I said. Let's talk about it after you've had a chance to clear out any misunderstandings. This is the between you and Sebastian. The worst thing in a relationship is misunderstanding each other before you find out the truth. We are all adults. When it comes to feelings, we should be clear-headed and rational. Don't think too much, okay?"

I had been with Hendrix for so many years, and most of the time, many grievances and discomfort were caused because I didn't want to open my mouth and I was reluctant to explain.

For so many years, I've suffered because of my weakness. I didn't want Naomi to experience what I went through. Their relationship was just starting out, if they can keep the sweetness as it is, then why can't their relationship prosper?

She nodded and calmed down. "Okay, I'll listen to you. I'll make a decision when I understand what's going on!"

After helping her unpack, Sebastian went to the office, leaving us behind to prepare lunch. Naomi didn't let me help her. She said that it was smoky in the kitchen and it was not suitable for sick people to hang around there.

Bored, without anything to do, I took a broom to clean up the yard

Sebastian's sudden return with groceries shocked me. I asked, "What are you doing?"

"Aren't you and Naomi cooking?" He handed me some fruits and said, "I don't have a maid at home, so we need to prepare the meals ourselves."

I nodded. I knew that. What I meant was why wasn't in the office?

Before I could question him further, he had hurried away into the villa.

Sensing that someone was looking at me, I looked up and saw Hendrix's tall, good- looking figure standing in the courtyard.
