My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1065

In the end, Linda took out a basin of water from the bathroom and poured it on Rowane. Thus, the fight ended.

Rowane sat on the ground and burst into tears without care for her personal image. She cursed again and again.

Linda threw the basin aside, looked down at Rowane, and said, "I'll tell you, Rowane, don't think that all good men have to like you because you are pretty. In this world, there are many beautiful women, but they don't have everything their way. If something is not yours, control yourself and not snatch them from others. Otherwise, when people realize your behaviour, they would feel that you're despicable and cheap!"

Rowane was weeping badly. She roared at Linda, "I don't care. I'll fight for what I want. Arianna doesn't want him. She pushed him away! So, who can she blame? How is it my fault? Just because I'm good-looking, and I'm talented, so I'm at fault?"

When I heard their argument, I felt like laughing at the ridiculousness. After a pause, I couldn't help but say, "Indeed, one cannot control one's romantic feelings. There's nothing wrong with you liking Hendrix. So, we should compete fairly. If you like him, you can continue to pursue him. And as for me, I'll try my best to stop you."

"Arianna, are you out of your mind?" Linda looked at me and said helplessly, "Others covet your man, but you're being so generous?"

I shrugged. "Feelings between a man and a woman are never within one's control. I have absolute trust in Hendrix. If he can change his affection and fall in love with Rowane, it's his choice. On the other hand, if he does not fancy Rowane and doesn't even give her a chance, it would mean that my choice in marrying him was right!"

Linda was stunned at my remark. Then, she nodded. "That's true!"

Rowane glared at me angrily and said, "Arianna, don't be too confident in yourself. You should know, relationships fade easily once the initial passion is over!"

I nodded and didn't deny her words. "Hence, we should compete fairly!"
