When I hung up on the call, Evan had already put everything on the table. Seeing that he was washing the oranges, I couldn't help saying, "Let me wash those. Isn't this just troubling for you?"
He said, "You should eat first. Mr. Roberts told me to make sure you finish eating and to squeeze some oranges to make you some fresh juice after."
Wow.
Hendrix's way of doing things was simply too overbearing.
Seeing that Evan wouldn't even allow me to enter the kitchen, I stopped trying with him and just took out all the food from the lunch boxes.
Naomi came over. She was dressed in loose clothes, and her hair was tied up casually. It was quite obvious to me that she had come to me directly from her bed.
"Oh my god, Hendrix is such a great boyfriend. How sweet and kind he is to send all this good food here! I envy you so much!" As she said that, she took a few photos of the spread with her mobile phone.
She then said, "I'm going to post this on my social media. I'll tag Sebastian and get him to learn from someone else's boyfriend."
I smiled faintly. I really liked their way of getting along with each other. She then took my phone, took some pictures with it and then started to fiddle around.
Not understanding what she was doing, she said, "Naomi, what are you doing?"
"I'll help you post a picture on yours to show off your sweet moments!" She typed while looking at my social media account and said, "Arianna, why do you not have a single post on your account? Have you never ever posted anything on it?"
I shook my head, replying, "There is nothing for me to post, so I rarely post anything!"
She twitched her lips and said, "What do you mean by 'rarely'? You haven't posted a single thing at all! You're really the first girl I've ever seen who has never posted anything on her social media!"
As she said that, she scrolled through Hendrix's account and said with some disdain, "You both are really husband and wife. You two acted the same way. Both of you have never posted anything at all. How amazing!"
