My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1112

I sat on the hospital bed and watched him as he tidied up the clothes. I couldn't help but say, "Hendrix, when you grow old and you don't have any money, you can find a job as a housekeeper."

He put the folded clothes into the luggage and looked up at me as he asked, "Do you think I will have no money?"

I couldn't help but pause for a moment. Then, I shook my head and said, "No!" With his ability, even if he had no money, he wouldn't need to go that far.

He was putting all of the toiletries into the tub that he had brought while I was in the hospital. I couldn't move at all, so the tub was for me to wipe my body.

"Do you need to take this with you?" It seemed that the villa didn't need anything like that.

He stayed quiet. The toiletries in the basin were all new, and almost all of them had not been used. If he didn't take those things back, we would leave them at the hospital.

It was a waste, but it seemed that we didn't need to take them home.

Besides, he didn't look like a person who would take all of those little things into consideration.

Outside, the cleaner knocked on the door, came in and greeted us with a smile, and then began to clean up.

In the past few days, I had seen her several times. She seemed to be mute. When she saw people, even if she was smiling, she did not speak.

Hendrix walked to her side, placed the basin on her cleaning rack, and then gestured to her with his hand.

She nodded gratefully. I didn't really understand what was going on, but I didn't interrupt their interaction.

Downstairs, at the parking lot,

After we got into the car, I looked at Hendrix and said, "Mr. Roberts, I've noticed that you're getting more and more down-to-earth."

He smiled and fastened my seat belt for me. Then, he said, "I don't want to be otherworldly. By doing this, I can enjoy life with my loved ones. I want to be with you guys more than anything."

When the car started, he drove with one hand and pulled my hand with the other. I couldn't help reminding him, "This is dangerous!"
