Hendrix was much more energetic in the morning than I imagined.
When I woke up again, he was walking out of the bathroom, looking at me in a very good mood. "Will you accompany me to the company later?"
I lay on the bed and looked at him with a halfhearted complaint. "No, I need to take Anne to the hospital later. My mom said that she has been having recurring fevers recently. She doesn't know why she isn't recovering."
He frowned slightly and said, "I'll go with you!"
"No need. I'm just taking her to the hospital for a check-up. It's probably nothing serious. There are a lot of things waiting for you to deal with at the company. Don't be distracted by these things." It was true that the situation in the Roberts Group had not stabilized yet. I always felt that there might be something more important waiting for him. There was always a bad feeling.
He thought about what I said then agreed. What I said was reasonable after all.
"Well, then..." Before he could finish his words, his phone rang.
I motioned for him to answer the phone first. He
nodded and kissed me on the forehead. Then he went to the balcony with his mobile phone while I got up and went into the bathroom.
He had left the dirty clothes that he had just changed in the bathroom. After washing up, I took his dirty clothes directly to the laundry room. Hearing a clunk, I searched his pockets and took out a bottle of vitamins.
After a closer look, I realized they were Vitamin A. I couldn't help frowning when I saw these. "Is he not feeling well lately? Why is he taking Vitamin A?"
I didn't give it further thought. When I returned to the bedroom, I saw him hurriedly getting dressed, preparing to go out. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
