Watching me get out of the car, she ran to me with her suitcase. She screamed, "Finally! I'm freezing to death. What's so good about this city? The weather is so cold. It can literally freeze people to death. I wonder why people are desperate to come here."
While listening to her complaints, I took the suitcase and was ready to put it in the trunk. Ethan stepped ahead of me and took the suitcase in my hand. He smiled and said, "I'll do it!"
Yana took a thick coat from the trunk and looked at me, "Is this okay?"
I nodded quickly and put it on Naomi. Looking at her, I said, "Before you came, you should've called so that I can prepare some clothes for you in advance. By the way, didn't you say that you came with a friend? Where is she?"
Naomi wrapped herself in the coat and felt a little warmer. She glanced around and said, "She went to get coffee to warm her hands. Oh, she's here!"
She pointed to the exit of the airport. I looked over. It was Wendy, who had sent me a message only a few days ago.
She approached us with her luggage. Her clothes were obviously thinner than Naomi's. Her face was pale white due to the chilling weather. She gasped when she saw me.
"Have you gotten us coffee? I told you, this airport is too big. It's like a maze!" Naomi couldn't help saying when she saw that there was nothing in Wendy's hands.
I looked at Yana awkwardly. Having noticed, she smiled and took out another grey coat from the trunk. She said, "Fortunately, Ethan didn't send the clothes back that day!"
I thanked her with a bright smile. Then, I walked to Wendy with the coat in my arms. She greeted me with a smile, "Hey, we meet again."
I passed the coat to her with a smile, "Yes, we meet again." Among so many people, it seemed that she was the only one who called me that.
