My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1435

I was standing by the door while all of the men inside were enjoying themselves. Seeing that a few people were carrying a fish tank into the room, my heart suddenly jolted.

I leaned against the door of the private room, listening, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Seeing the waiters coming out, I couldn't help but pull one aside and asked, "Hello, young man, I'm curious, what are they planning to do with the fish tank? It looks so fun, my husband is into this kind of stuff too. He and I want to come over to have some fun, do you have any recommendations?"

Obviously, he was a little taken aback. The other waiters around him chuckled. "Madam, you are an interesting character, playing around with your husband like this!"

I smiled and said awkwardly, "The life of a married couple is so boring, so we want to spice things up!

They said, "This is the place where all the wealthy of Asherton come to have some fun. They like to play games. Miss, I don't think this kind of game is suitable for you. Mr. Caulfied likes to see people struggle to keep themselves alive, and he likes to put people into the fish tank. It's better you don't get involved in this kind of game. It's too dangerous."

My mind went blank for a moment and I was a little shaken. "He likes seeing people struggle to keep themselves alive? What kind of weird things is he into?" I thought to myself.

Seeing me in a daze, the waiters left. I stood at the entrance of the suite. Without thinking too much, I pushed the door open and went in. Everyone was gathered around the fish tank. No one noticed me coming in.

Beside the fish tank, a middle-aged man put a stack of cash on the table and said, "Since everyone is in such a good mood today, would anyone like to play a game with me? As long as I am satisfied, this stack of a hundred thousand dollars will be yours."

For a moment, the girls went quiet. It seemed that they knew what was coming. The man was not happy that he didn't get any response. He frowned and said, "No one wants to play? Then what are you doing here? You women are just getting in my way."

I frowned, and I struggled to even force out a single word.

No one dared to say a single word. His gaze swept around the room and his eyes fell on Susan, who was hiding behind a few girls. He said, "You, come here!"

All of a sudden, they all looked at Susan. Susan shrunk back in shock and walked forward carefully. She stopped in front of John and looked at him, trembling.

"Go and play. This hundred thousand dollars will be yours. You should take advantage of me being in a good mood, and satisfy me." The man placed the stack of cash in front of Susan.

Susan lowered her head. I stood far away from her, and I couldn't see her expression clearly. But I could feel that her body was trembling. I thought she would cry for mercy.

But she suddenly looked at the man and said, "Make it two hundred thousand!"

"What?" The man was also stupefied for a moment. For a moment, everyone gaped at her in shock.

Susan opened her mouth again and said, "Make it two hundred thousand, and I'll do it."

After a moment, the man suddenly laughed. "Interesting, interesting, sure. Two hundred thousand. Go in and play for five minutes. Don't worry. If you die, I will give you another two hundred thousand. Four hundred thousand dollars for your life."

He then took out another pile of notes from his bag.
