John glared at me. "You called the police?"
I nodded. Seeing how Susan was gradually giving up struggling, I uttered, "You'd better get her out of there, or you'll be going to jail!"
He burst into fits of laughter, and stared at me. He said arrogantly, "Listen, this b*tch said that I am going to jail? What a joke, this is the first time in my life I heard someone tell me that I'm getting into trouble."
The people standing around the tank also chuckled. I pursed my lips, feeling a little confused.
The man suddenly opened his mouth and ordered, "Get her out of the tank and throw this woman in instead. I don't give a f*ck who she is. If the police comes, tell them that I am here. If they don't know who I am, then ask them to speak to Oscar."
"Yes, John!"
Susan was pulled out of the tank, but she was already unconscious. I rushed over to check on her but before I could make sure she was alright, I was dragged by two men and hurled into the tank. I choked on the water, with my head being pressed down forcefully into the water.
I drank a few mouthfuls of icy-cold water and felt a sharp pain in my throat. I wanted to breathe, but I choked every time I tried to open my mouth and my throat felt extremely painful. I cried out for help.
I tried to ask for help but I was overwhelmed by the two men. I couldn't even force out a single word. I drank a few mouthfuls of water and my entire body was in agonizing pain. My tummy started cramping. My eyes widened in disbelief as I realized that it must've been the baby.
I could hear vague screams. "She is bleeding, she is bleeding..."
