After a long conversation, it was time for her to board the plane. After we bid farewell, I let out a sigh.
Life was always full of ups and downs.
When we arrived at Jarold University, it was already a little late. Fortunately, Hendrix and I were not in a hurry, hence we headed straight to the library the moment we arrived.
The place was not crowded, but our appearance turned some heads. Hendrix was a quiet person, so he quickly found a seat and sat down.
I was looking for books on the shelf. After all, it was my first time here, so I was not familiar with this place. I'd been looking for a very long time, and I still hadn't found the book I was looking for.
A guy in his twenties suddenly appeared beside me. He was handsome and neatly dressed.
Seeing him smiling at me, I couldn't help but respond with a faint smile.
"Are you looking for some materials?" He stood beside me and asked.
I nodded and smirked faintly, "I'm looking for law books, but I've had no luck in that." Perhaps it was because I was not familiar with the library.
He stared at me and uttered gently, "Most of the books here are not organized. The reading room next door has more educational books in there. If you are not very familiar with this place, I can bring you over if you don't mind. Perhaps I can help you find what you are looking for."
I nodded and smiled. "Thank you!"
We went over to the reading room next door and found the book I was looking for. He stared at me and said, "You don't look like a student from our university. Have you just enrolled here, or are you pursuing your doctorate?"
