Was he still doing well in Mesville?
Sawyer and Raiya exchanged glances and smiled. They said nothing, and it was obvious that they were delighted to hear those words.
A moment later, Sawyer looked at me again with a sincere expression. "I hope you two will receive good news soon too."
I was stunned for a moment before I realized what he meant. Sawyer was a smart man, so he naturally figured out the purpose of our visit to the obstetrics and gynecology department. I smiled and replied, "Well, thank you."
Sawyer nodded, and his gaze fell on Hendrix. "Mr. Roberts, the Roberts Group's financial audit is coming soon. Can I interest you in one of our loans?"
Looking at him, for the first time, I felt that Sawyer had grown up to be a real man as they talked about work.
However, Hendrix did not seem as if he wanted to talk much. His tone was indifferent. "I prefer not to about business during my personal time. You can call my secretary and arrange a meeting in my office."
"That's fine." Sawyer didn't continue to ponder on the topic. "Then we'll let both of you be for now. We still have some tests to carry out."
After that, he took Raiya’s hand and left.
Seeing them enter the nearest elevator, Hendrix pinched my shoulder. When I came to, we were already halfway out of the hospital.
When Freya got into the car, she immediately started chattering again.
"That's Valerie's son? The one who just took over Clark family's estate?"
Freya grew up in Jarold City and was unfamiliar with the people in Ucrebury. Sawyer had only recently arrived in Jarold City, so even though she was well-informed, she still could not match his name with his face.
