"What did you say?" Aaron was so angry that he stood up and was about to rush over. I quickly reached out and stopped him. "Aaron!"
"I'm sorry, Dr. Lawson." I was just worried that Silvia would suffer injuries from Aaron, hence I asked her to leave quickly. "He didn't mean it. Please go back first, and I apologize to Ian."
Silvia gritted her teeth and showed a rare look of disgust on her usually gentle face. She glared at Aaron and then walked away.
Aaron was used to being free and easy, but he was knocked down by Silvia. After sitting down, he blurted angrily, "She's quite bad-tempered, and she looks average too."
Emma and I looked at each other helplessly and didn't say anything. Aaron was so angry that he loosened the button of his suit and asked, "Why didn't you tell me about Anne's custody?"
Tell him? Judging by his personality, he would have bribed other people to do something to Ian in private.
"I can handle it myself. You don't have to worry about it." I answered perfunctorily, trying to lead things away from this topic.
"That won't do." Aaron turned his head to look at Anne, who was playing with the nanny. A doting smile appeared on his handsome face. "Anne is like my biological daughter. How can anyone snatch her away from me? Dream on."
I had no choice but to reach out and push him. "Don't mess around. Ian is a good friend of Monique and I. If you mess with him, Monique won't rest in peace."
When I mentioned Monique's name, Aaron raised his eyebrows and lowered his head without saying anything.
