I didn't want to give up halfway a ten- year marriage, but Aaron's words were like an electric shock that made us clear of reality. This only involved Hendrix and the enemy fighting at the beginning, now it involved me and our children.
After Sebastian left for such a long time, I believed that he came prepared. Hendrix broke Matt's arms for me and completely fell out with the Forbes family. It would be enough for Sebastian to see the real relationship between us. Next time, I would not escape from him.
When Valerie and Pedro entered the living room, the atmosphere froze. The large living room was shockingly quiet.
"What's the matter?" Valerie asked, stopping in the distance before walking further in.
Hearing her, Hendrix and I came to our senses.
"Nothing." I sat back and pinched the space between my eyebrows, feeling a little tired. "Why are you here so late?"
Valerie and Pedro exchanged glances and then looked relaxed. "Nothing, we haven't seen each other for a long time. I'm here to see you and Anne."
This was not a good time to visit. I didn't buy their excuse. It seemed that they were looking for Hendrix.
My own parents had joined forces with Hendrix to hide from me. I really didn't know if I should feel grateful for their thoughtful consideration for me, or feel that I was an outsider.
"If you have something to say, then say it." Hendrix's voice suddenly rang out. I turned around and saw him looking deeply at me. "Arianna knows everything now."
Although I was surprised, it was indeed reasonable. The truth was out, and there was no need to pretend I didn't know.
