My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1722

There were too many people who would want to kill me in this place. Even if I knew that I didn't have much time, I didn't want to die suddenly. I forced myself to call for help again and again.

"Is anybody here? Someone..."

When Aaron came in with the doctors and nurses, I had struggled to the bedside and almost fell off the bed.

"What happened? Didn't I tell you not to move? What are you doing?"

With the last bit of my strength, I grabbed Aaron's arm tightly and looked up at the IV fluid hanging near my head. "The drug, someone changed..."

Before I finished my sentence, I fell into Aaron's arms and lost consciousness once again.

It was three hours after I woke up. I felt like I had recovered a lot of strength.

Seeing that I had woken up, Hendrix immediately moved forward. It had only been a few days since we last met. His chin was covered in black stubble and his eyes sockets were deep as if he had aged ten years.

"Are you awake? Do you want to eat something?" Hendrix's voice was a little hoarse. Perhaps it was because I was hallucinating, I could hear him sobbing.

"I'm not hungry." I said and reached out to touch his cheek. "You don't remember to take care of yourself."

Hendrix's eyes were wet, but the corners of his mouth were still smiling. "I'm fine. It's good that you're awake. Don't worry. The baby's whereabouts have been found. Don't worry. Just get better. Listen to Aaron and stay here."

"I'm much better." Perhaps Hendrix was my courage to face everything. I sat up on the bed and leaned against the headboard. My exhaustion and dizziness seemed to have been reduced by half, and I could see things clearly.
