"Both. You won't have a hard time over here, and the family can use the firm for some help," Aaron said. He paused for a little bit, and his expression turned serious. "Uncle Charles has begun to take action. Sooner or later, he'll need a law firm fully under his control to prepare for future lawsuits."
I nodded silently, as a sign that I understood. Although Aaron was usually nice to me, it was not to the extent of spending a thousand dollars just for this meager circumstance. This firm may be of great use to the family.
Maybe it's the last thing I get to do before I leave.
I thought about it for a while, and I decided to accept Aaron's arrangements. "That's settled then, but I have one more condition," I added.
"Anything for you, just say it," chortled Aaron. He was in a good mood, so he acted really generous to me.
"Ask the designer to remake the logo. I'm an employee who isn't officially a lawyer, yet I opened a law firm in my name. It looks too blatant. Let's use the Reid name instead," I said awkwardly.
Fabian didn't manage to introduce himself previously, but judging from his self-restraint and temperament, he was probably an eminent lawyer with prominent status. It was already a grievance for someone like him to work under me. It would be even worse for the team to form a strong bond with Arianna Law Firm as the name.
Aaron agreed without saying much. "Okay, I'll get my staff to contact the designer later. I'll make amendments to it and I promise I'll make you satisfied."
"You shouldn't get the same person to do it again. Leave it to me," quipped Emma excitedly. She crossed her arms and convinced, "Arianna, why don't you leave this design to me?"
"Is your company's business failing so badly that you have to offer your services to your acquaintance?" Aaron remarked, raising his eyebrows while squinting his eyes weirdly.
"Why do you even care?" Emma jeered as she rolled her eyes at him. She walked over and grabbed my arm. "It's a matter between Arianna and me now. What's wrong with creating a design for free as an opening gift for my sister-in-law?"
"For free?" blurted Aaron, blinking and seemingly skeptical about her words. "The logo represents the image of the company. The graphic design company you work for is only considered second-rate in Jarold City. Do you think you can make something on par with Reid Group's standard and class?" "Designs are subjected to different preferences. Does it mean that a company is remarkable just because it's huge? I like Arianna, so I want to do this for her. Do you have any objections?" Emma retorted.
