My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1830

I was no stranger to Freya's face and figure, but when I looked at her smooth, pale back, I recalled the scene I saw back then at the clinic. Taking in her recovered back, I could hardly believe that she had recovered so well in just over a month.

Frey a smiled happily and said, "I couldn't stand the loneliness, so I was very generous with my spending to recover fast..."

She stopped speaking and looked around for a moment. Then she leaned in and whispered, "Though the revealed part of my back is recovered, there are still scars underneath this dress that are still visible. Let's go home and talk. I don't want the paparazzi to catch sight of me!"

I was rendered speechless by Freya's words. Although I knew Frey a was a person who liked acting rash and couldn't stand to be lonely, the fact that she couldn't even stay a while longer in Mesville to let her beauty scars heal was a little surprising to me.

With Frey a and Aaron in the car, my journey back to the Moore family was filled with laughter and joy. I listened as she told us about the surgical skills Mesville had to offer along the way. It was both surprising and amusing, and everyone

chatted up a storm.

Once we entered through the Moore family's gate, her laughter instantly died down.

"You're back," Zachary said, standing in a cluster of greenery. He held in his hand, a drippy watering pot and a pair of scissors. He looked somewhat frazzled.

He had already long removed his former outfit as a university professor, his hair soft and droopy. His gray sports suit was thin and monotonous, which gave off the impression of a gardener.

A second ago, Freya was still in the highest of spirits. But her presence now was cold and icy as she beamed, "Why are you still here?"

As third parties, Aaron and I moved silently to the side as we did not want to be involved in their family matters.

Suddenly, Oliver ran out of the villa and hugged Zachary's leg and cried, "Daddy, come play with me!"
