My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1851

Hendrix had always treasured his parents' belongings. There was no reason for such a mistake' even the servants did not clean it up.

I squatted down with curiosity, carefully sweeping away the broken glass before picking up the frame. Only then did I clearly see Hendrix's parents' wedding photo in it.

Since only Hendrix and I had been here recently, it meant that Hendrix had broken this.

But how could it be?

To avenge them, Hendrix did not dare to slack off at all. He was encased in hatred day and night, not having a day of true happiness. These were the few photos that he had left of them, but they were abandoned here.

As I was lost in thought, I suddenly heard footsteps behind me. They were quiet, but I was sure that someone was approaching.

There were many who wanted to hurt me, but I wouldn't be targeted as soon as I left Jarold City, let alone in the old estate.

I calmed down and slowly turned around with the frame in my hand.

A tall figure blocked my sight, and Hendrix was staring at me expressionlessly. His eyes were as cold as ice, and even the room suddenly felt chilly.

He looked at me as if he was looking at an enemy of fate, which made me feel strange and scared.

"Why are you here too?"

As soon as the words left my lips, I regretted it. Hendrix visited the mansion most frequently, so it was not surprising that we met here.
