My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1930

All of a sudden, I found myself unable to refute her question. The world was always changing. There were so many things we couldn't explain.

There might not even be a source for all the love and hatred we feel, but we'd never be able to ignore either of them.

"Madam Reid!" someone shouted.

Wynn's childish voice came from the door.

I turned around and saw Hendrix standing at the entrance of the room with the little sweetie pie.

He looked very excited as he grabbed Hendrix's arm and walked into the room. The weight of his small body was being held back by Hendrix's hands. Just a little push would have sent him flying.

Hendrix, on the other hand, was very calm and cooperative. He walked slowly and appeared very composed.

I didn't expect to meet them in the same place twice. I was a little surprised as I asked, "Wynn, what are you doing here?"

"I got hungry, so Dad is taking me out to lunch!" Wynn replied. Then, he let go of Hendrix and rushed over to me.

Looking into Hendrix's cold eyes, I instinctively took a step back.

He remained expressionless as ever. He carefully looked at Freya and I, as thought he was a little surprised by our presence.

It took me a few seconds to remember Freya's confession. I looked at Wynn and my heart was overwhelmed with a mixture of emotions.

Is Wynn really my son?

And I was once... married to Hendrix?

Thinking of this, I looked towards Hendrix. For the first time, I seriously looked at him.

As I was inspecting him, I was certain I had never met this before in my life.

Also, personally speaking, he wasn't even my type.
