My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 1947

I didn't have any impression of Jennifer, but I remembered what I overheard from before. Besides, she had very similar facial features to Hendrix. I knew that they were related, so I greeted her, "Miss Marshall", purely out of respect.

As soon as Jennifer heard this, she exaggeratedly raised her hand to cover her chest and pretended to have a heart attack. She was surprised, flustered, and was in absolute disbelief, "You... you..."

Before she could finish her sentence, she collected herself and turned to look at Hendrix. She was calm as she said, "She's a lookalike. The real Arianna is dead. Even the police presented us with her death certificate. You're being deceived, Hendrix."

She sounded so certain as thought she wasn't afraid of being exposed.

Well, someone who has been pronounced dead and had everything destroyed wouldn't be able to call her out.

Next to me, Jennifer was Hendrix's closest family member. It was clear who was more important to him. Since Hendrix willingly allowed his son to change his last name to Marshall, that was a very telling bit of proof.

Wynn had been staring at his micro- computer before the servant came over to serve him some water. When he caught sight of me, he was so excited that he immediately scrambled over with the micro-computer in his hand. As the servant was afraid of disturbing us, she forcibly held onto him.

"Madam Reid! I want to play with you!" Pulling his small body forward, Wynn tried to break free from the servant. The quiet living room instantly turned noisy.

The servant's face changed drastically, as though she had committed a huge mistake as she tried to coax Wynn away.

I had no choice but to call out to him, "Wynn, please be obedient. Wait for me over there. Once I'm done, I'll come to see you. Be obedient!"

Wynn immediately pursed his lips. Although he was unhappy, he obediently lowered his head and agreed. "I get it, I'm a good boy. Madam Reid, please hurry up and come over to see me!"
