Freya sighed. "You can't say that. Your past was pretty complicated, but one thing I'm certain of is that Hendrix was just like an ordinary man when he was with you, complete with emotions and desires."
I rolled my eyes. "Is that a rare sight?"
There was no distinction between feelings. Even though Hendrix was incredibly gifted, it was normal for him to have emotions of happiness, anger, sorrow, and joy towards someone he loved. But when Freya said it, it sounded like a personal gift from Hendrix to Arianna.
It wasn't hard to imagine that when Arianna was with Hendrix, she must have had a very humble attitude.
"Whether it was rare or not, you won't know until you've regained your memories. Just to remind you, when you look at someone sincerely, don't be confused by their appearance, especially someone as complicated and difficult to understand as Hendrix. It'll take a lot of time for you to understand." Freya suddenly started to mock herself. "Anyways, I still haven't seen through my benefactor after so many years."
"Why do you call him your benefactor?" The information in the folder from earlier was only a rough history of Hendrix, so it didn't have any information about Freya's relationship with Hendrix.
Freya said, "He's invested in my company. What else should I call him?"
I was speechless.
Someone was urging Freya for a meeting over the phone, so she couldn't talk for very long. She quickly hung up after arranging to meet me in the afternoon.
Before I said goodbye, she suddenly interjected, "What got you asking these questions today? Did Hendrix see you again in private?"
I had a growing suspicion that Freya was a mind reader. She kept getting it right on her first guess.
"Well..." I wasn't going to deny it and answered awkwardly, "Besides that, yesterday I moved into his house and promised to be his son's mother."
Suddenly, Freya raised her voice. "Do you remember now, or did Hendrix?"
Even though we weren't facing each other in person, it was easy to imagine the look of excitement and surprise in Freya's eyes.
