Anne and Wynn met for the first time in six years. Since she had become a more cheerful person now, she liked being with her quiet and elegant younger brother. She kept teasing him the entire time.
After entering the room, Aurelia stuck to Anna the whole time and completely ignored Hendrix.
Things were awkward throughout the meal. I was enjoying this reunion but Aaron and Hendrix looked lonely.
Anne placed all of her attention on Wynn, "Hey Wynn, we haven't met in such a long time, do you still remember me?"
Wynn shook his head calmly, "I don't remember but I will from now on."
Aurelia then jumped in and asked, "Anne, how about me? Did you miss me?"
"Of course I did! I think about you every day whenever I wake up!" Anne replied. She pinched Aurelia's chubby little cheeks as she spoke, and then turned to look at Wynn, "Wynn, you're so cute, I'm sure many girls have given you love letters at school right? Come on, tell me about them!"
Wynn was silent for a moment, then said, "I don't like girls." "What?" Anne had grown up abroad, so she asked cheekily, "So you like boys?"
"No." Wynn denied immediately "Children are very noisy. I don't like any of them."
Anne reacted the same way I did. She was stunned for a moment, and also slightly astonished. She didn't know how to react, she had underestimated this six-year-old brother of hers.
Wynn wasn't upset with Anne, but she didn't talk to him anymore, probably because she wanted to give him some space. During the meal however, Anne still took care of the both of them.
Although Wynn wasn't particularly close to Anne, I understood how he felt. When he was with Anne, Wynn suddenly became someone who needed to be looked after, he wasn't used to that.
He was exactly like Hendrix. Proud and self confident. He needed more time to adapt to this.
