As he spoke, Jordan walked over to Naomi and stood beside her. Even though one of them had my face, both were wearing masks. Together, they made such a perfect couple.
At that, Naomi's smug eyes gleamed as her brows arched upwards. "Have you truly forgotten about me, Naomi Reid, your sister? We're twins by blood."
It seemed that Naomi Reid was Naomi Attwood's new identity that Jordan gave her. It seemed I still couldn't escape their efforts to force a fake relationship between her and I.
We had little reaction to show, treating everything we heard as a joke.
Aurelia, on the other hand, took it seriously. "Are you and Mum twins just like Wynn and I? My brother and I are fraternal twins, so we look different. Do you both look the same because you're both girls?"
Just as I was about to explain, Naomi beat me to it.
"That's right! Aurelia, you're so smart!" Naomi smiled with her eyebrows arched. "From now on, you and your brother can call me Aunt Naomi!"
As I stared at the woman who was using my face, I felt a pang irony in my chest.
Naomi was a nice person before. Hence, it didn't matter if she was the aunt to my children. With her evil intentions so clear, how could I allow my children to think of her as their relative?
Still, how was I going to explain this to my children?
Fortunately, Hendrix came to my rescue.
"Wynn." Hendrix's voice was low, and judging by the tone of his voice, he wasn't in a good mood.
"Dad, I'm listening," Wynn replied.
As he spoke, Hendrix didn't even blink his eyes. "Is what your uncle said true? You're unable to complete your computer schoolwork on your own?"
He was implying that part of the blame was attributable to Wynn.
If he could complete his schoolwork independently, he would not have needed Jordan's help, and we could leave right away.
Though it was not a good idea to take an adult matter out on a child, I was not at liberty to say anything at this point.
Guys had their own way of resolving conflicts amongst themselves.
