Things didn't go as smoothly as I thought they would. There was no news from Hendrix in the last two days.
I only received news of him from Tobias after the third night. Apparently, Hendrix had gone to Thesland and made a transaction with several people from Viannland. That was probably what Jordan had shown me.
It could take some people forever to be considered good, but it only takes a blink of an eye for someone to become bad. I wasn't sure when Hendrix was going to give up on himself, but I had to stop him before that happened.
Aaron and Freya had been working around the clock for this. They were as busy as bees. Tobias probably didn't want to offend Jordan and his powerful backing. I barely got any more news from him since then. At the end of the day, he was a businessman after all. It did nothing more than to remind me not to completely rely on him.
Since I couldn't get information from Jordan directly, I could try to get it through Andrea instead. I was desperate.
Standing outside the club, I hesitated for a long time and didn't walk in.
To be honest, after I found out the truth, not only was it difficult for Hendrix to face it, but even I, who had always been the victim, didn't know how to approach Andrea.
However, there must be something to pity about the people we hated. When I found out that I was the reason why she was so pitiful, there was no way I could talk to her again with the same confidence I had.
Even the smallest of mistakes could lead to bigger ones. No one dared to question if things would be different for Andrea if she hadn't been violated back then.
I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't realize that someone had been calling out to me.
When I turned around and spotted Andrea, I thought of the phrase, 'meeting at a narrow path'. As I was thinking about what to say, I suddenly saw Anne step out of the car
"Mommy," Anne greeted calmly. No one could hear any emotion in her voice.
