"What are you doing?" Aaron was seriously injured, and he should stay at the hospital for at least a month. It would be too careless for him to leave now as if he didn't care about his injury.
"Mr. Reid's orders... He has been discharged." The nurse stopped and answered me.
"Alright. You can continue with your work." Aaron finished all his procedures, then came over and put his hand on my shoulder. He joked and said, "My dear sister, you know me. I can't sit here and stay put. If this goes on, I'll be depressed. I could only have a speedy recovery when I am happy and comfortable. So let me go home."
"You think you're funny, huh?" I raised my head and pretended to laugh. Then my expression changed instantly, saying, "No way."
"The doctor already said that the first half of the month is very crucial for recovery. And you have to do other tests as well. Do you think you can do that at home?" He hurt his right hand because of me. Unless the doctor confirmed that there was no other way to treat his hand, he couldn't go home. Otherwise, no one could interrupt the treatment process.
"Well, I can come back to the hospital every day. Anyway, I can't stand to stay here and watch the sunrise every day. It's such torture," Aaron said casually.
"Still no." I looked at him, feeling hesitant. Of course, I knew how difficult it was to be trapped in a dull ward. But I owed Aaron too much, and even if there was only a little hope, I would try my best to ensure his recovery.
"How about we stay at the hospital for alternate days?" Aaron noticed that I was still reluctant to give in. He winked and used his puppy eyes to look at me, trying to ease the atmosphere.
But I still showed a stern expression, indicating that there was no way I would compromise. "Do you think I don't know you well enough? Once you leave this place, there's no way you'll come back, even if we use all our strength to pull you. You have to stay here for at least half a month. Otherwise, don't even think about getting out."
Aaron realized that there was nothing else he could do, so he sat on the sofa and crossed his legs. "In that case, I'll just have to follow my heart, to go out and come back whenever I want."
