When I opened my eyes, I was still in the dining room.
I tried to move. As expected, I was tied up.
All of the dishes on the table had been eaten. It seemed that after drugging Hendrix and me, Andrea had a good meal.
I turned to look towards Hendrix's seat, but it was empty.
Where was he?
"You woke up faster than I thought," Andrea's cold voice came from the living room.
I twisted my head in her direction and found no one missing. The man was even playing an arcade video game without a care in the world. Hendrix, on the other hand, was bound like me and had been thrown onto the sofa.
The wall clock indicated the time to be at 8:20 p.m. I was only unconscious for less than two hours.
"Hendrix isn't responsible for what had happened to you back then. If you're planning something, just do it to me instead," I daringly said. Worst case was that I would die but at least I could make up for the hardships that she suffered over the years.
Andrea didn't even bat an eye. She remained inattentive.
About ten minutes later, at half past eight, the doorbell rang.
Andrea stood up calmly and walked over to open the door. Following the sound of the door closing, a group of muscular men walked into the living room one after another.
Andrea, like an instructor, crossed her arms and asked, "Do you know what you're supposed to do?"
