Finally, Raiya stopped moving.
Blood pooled around her body like a flower.
"Raiya!" I screamed.
The crowd was frantically hiding and running away. I was frozen to the spot, shouting my lungs out.
Upon hearing my scream, the little boy took it as a motivation for himself and started to laugh even louder. His mouth was wide open like a monster about to devour its prey. He then looked at me for a few seconds. Then, he turned the gun on himself, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger.
Blood spurted out, and the boy fell to the ground.
In less than a minute, two vivid lives were gone, and the air was filled with the smell of blood.
I thought suicide attacks only happened in shows. So this was how it felt like in real life. It felt like something was stuck in your throat, and there was no air to breathe.
Before I could recover from this shocking incident, two hands reached out from behind me and covered my mouth and nose. I was then dragged into the back of a bread truck away from the shopping mall.
The moment the door closed, the driver stepped onto the accelerator and drove away.
They tied both my hands and feet, sealed my mouth and nose, and even blindfolded me. There was no communication throughout the whole ride.
After an unknown amount of time, the vehicle finally stopped.
One of them carried me out of the vehicle like I was a twig, then threw me onto the ground.
Soon, the blindfold was roughly removed. After a long moment of darkness, the sudden exposure to the sun made me squint.
As I gradually got used to the light, the offender who had kidnapped me started to speak.
"Miss Reid, we meet again."
It was Emily.
I lowered my eyes and did not give any response.
