I laughed and said, "No matter how much I hate him, we are still bound by the law. After all, half of this house is my asset. If I don't come back, wouldn't I have to give it up?"
She said scornfully, "Don't be sarcastic. I don't want your money at all."
I raised my eyebrows. "Who knows? You had your eye on my man after all."
Seeing that she was about to yell at me in frustration, I turned around and went to the yard. It was already autumn in Jarold City. Time passed in a blink of an eye.
Hendrix seemed to have heard the commotion and came out. When he saw Andrea, he furrowed his brows and pressed his lips together. "What are you doing here?" He asked indifferently.
Seeing her lover, Andrea's furious face turned into a gentle smile. "Hendrix, I heard from my father that you will go to the border town next month to discuss the project development. He asked me to send you the cooperation contract."
As she spoke, she glanced at the nanny who was supporting her. The nanny took out the documents and respectfully handed them to Hendrix.
"Pfft!" I couldn't stop my laugh from escaping.
It got the attention of two people. Hendrix pursed his lips and looked at me, saying, "It's cold outside. Go back in and put on a coat."
Andrea, on the other hand, stared at me with displeasure and a look of annoyance.
Ignoring her gaze, I walked up to Hendrix and wrapped my hand around his. "You hurt me a little just now. I don't want to walk. Go get it for me," I said.
As I spoke, I deliberately tilted my head a little, revealing the spot where he had bit hard on my neck.
My skin was tender, so if he bit it, there would definitely be a mark.
Seeing that Andrea's face was growing gloomier, I looked at Hendrix and smiled extremely sweetly. "Is that okay?"
Hendrix should very well know what I was trying to do.
