I pursed my lips and pushed Hendrix away. "It's hot. Get away from me!"
What was he sorry for?
I wanted to know but I didn't ask. I stared at the ceiling. My heart felt a little empty.
I did hate Hendrix the time when something happened to our child. I was bitter at him for failing to protect me, bitter at him for not being by my side when things happened.
Thinking back, I might have been selfish for not thinking things from his end.
"I won't do it again." He said, his voice was a little hoarse.
I pursed my lips and looked at him in a casual manner. "Hendrix, do you love me?"
This question was pointless but I still wanted to know.
He looked at me sideways and said after a long time. "I won't ever divorce you, you'll be my wife forever."
What kind of answer was that?
I pursed my lips and said indifferently, "Okay!"
It felt like he didn't even answer my question.
Noticing that my lips were pursed and I was silent, Hendrix held my shoulder and asked, "Are you angry?"
I shook my head. I was a little sleepy.
I closed my eyes sleepily. Maybe it was because I was relieved that I slept soundly that day.
The agreement with Fantasia was set and things would fall into place within 3 days' time.
The next morning, Hendrix got up early for work. I laid in bed and narrowed my eyes at him. "Do you only wear such monotone clothes ever since you were young?"
He took a tie out from the closet. Instead of answering my question, he looked at me and said, "Come and fix my necktie for me."
I shook my head and said, "I don't know how." I really didn't know how. Before Hendrix, I had not been in a relationship with any other men. He was my first. Plus, I had never learnt to tie a necktie before.
He frowned and said, "I'll teach you."
Hendrix really did know how to get things his way.
I sat up straight. I looked at him and said, "Come over." It was still early, and I didn't want to leave the bed as I had no other plans for the day.
