My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 512

When he saw me, he stubbed out his cigarette and threw it into the bin beside him. Then, he stood up, took off his coat and put it on me. "Why didn't you wear more clothes?"

I pursed my lips and said, "What do you want?" I went straight to the point as I had no patience to chat with him here.

He frowned. "Go stay at Flora Hill."

"I have something to do here!" I refused. I pulled off the coat and handed it back to him, I'm doing pretty well here."

I would have a headache if I went back and had to face him.

He furrowed his brows, looking a little agitated at my rejection. "Arianna, you're already married. Don't you know that you're my wife? Do you think that it's appropriate for you to live with two men?"

"It's not appropriate!'¹ I raised my head and looked at him. I then continued indifferently, "Hendrix, I've already said that you can divorce me if you're not happy. I can sign off on it anytime."

"Arianna!" He bristled with anger. He grabbed my hand forcefully. "Are you that used to talking about divorcing? You keep mentioning it. Do you take marriage as a game?"

"Indeed! Hendrix, this is but a fun game to me! So, when are we getting divorced?"

He squinted his eyes and his gaze darkened. After a long time, he opened the car door and threw me violently into the car with all his strength.

I was strong enough to resist being thrown into the car. Before I could get up, he had already started the car.

He rushed all the way; I didn't know how many red lights he had run passed. After a while, he reached the villa.

Before I could react, he pulled me out of the car. I struggled in his hold and hollered angrily, "Hendrix, are you nuts?"

He didn't say anything and just lifted me up. I felt dizzy being carried like this.

After a while, he threw me onto the bed in the bedroom. Before I could scramble off the bed, he had removed his jacket.
