With such a handsome man sitting in the office, the few girls could not do any work at all. They had their eyes on him.
Someone asked curiously, "Who is this man? What is his relationship with Arianna?"
"He seems to be the president of an IT company. His name is Aaron Reid, and he is Charles Reid's son."
"So they are siblings?"
"No way! How come I've never heard of it previously?"
"Haven't you heard that Arianna is Charles Reid's daughter before as well? What's so strange about that?"
I shut down the computer. Then, I got up. I looked at Aaron and said, "Let's go!" The sound of discussion was not loud, but I could hear it. I did not like to listen to these gossips, so I chose to stay away from them.
Walking out of the hotel, Aaron smiled faintly. "What would you like to eat?" "I don't have any preference!" I replied.
He had booked places at a restaurant. The restaurant was not luxurious, but was also considered one of the best in Hovell.
He sat opposite me. He looked at me and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"You decide!" I said.
He paused for a while before ordering two steaks. With his gaze on me, he said in a deep voice, "You've lost weight!"
I smiled and said, "Did you come to Hovell for work?"
"I came to visit you!" he said, looking at me with honest eyes. "Uncle Charles said you were in Hovell, so I came."
I nodded and fell into silence.
Thinking about it, he was also in his thirties now. Time had really passed quickly.
"When do you plan to return to Jarold City?" he asked straightforwardly.
I was slightly stunned and smiled. "I don't plan to go back."
He frowned and asked, "What about Anne's future? She'll have a better education in Jarold City. Why don't you want to go back?"
The weather was a little hot and dry. I raised my hand and pinched the bridge of my nose, feeling a little annoyed. "Aaron, can't we just eat?"
We could slowly talk about these things in the future. Why did we need to talk about these now when the future was still long ahead?
He fell into silence. Instead of eating, he watched me eat. It was a very strange habit of his.
