My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 714

"Just tell the world that I was forced to forgive you under your scheme. If I still chose not to let go, I would be narrow- minded and cold- hearted. I watched helplessly as all of you were almost frozen to death in the snow, but I was still indifferent. What all of you are doing now is announcing to everyone that I am cold and heartless."

"Arianna!" The moment I said these words, Valerie's face turned deathly pale. There was not a trace of blood on her lips.

She opened her mouth but did not seem to know what to say.

I removed the wool overcoat on my body and passed it to Freya. Then, I said coolly, "Thank you."

She took it, nodded and said, "It's getting late. Do you want to stay here?"

I shook my head, "I drove."

Then, without looking back at the people in the snow, I left the Moore Family villa.

It was snowing extremely heavily.

I did not know whether Hendrix had returned to the villa or not. After I got back myself, I closed the bedroom door and stayed up all night.

It seemed like no matter what I did, I would still be in the wrong.

After a night of heavy snowfall, Jarold City was covered in white silver. Before the sky turned bright, the silver light form outside had shone through the window and lit up the bedroom.

I could not sleep, so I looked up at the clock. It was five in the morning; it was time to get up.

After I got dressed and went downstairs, I found out that the lights in the living room had been on all night. I could tell that Hendrix had not returned home the night before.

As usual, I went to the kitchen to make breakfast. I waited for Anne to get up and sent her to school.

Anne's school had not opened yet as we had arrived a little too early.
