My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 728

"Arianna, why don't you come with me to the hotel to change? I'm not a fan of moving around with these clothes," Freya whispered into my ear.

She seemed to have finished her toast, so she was ready to change. I nodded. It was inconvenient for me too to move about in this getup.

After notifying the few elders, I went upstairs with Freya. I guess Freya saw that I looked a little absent-minded in the elevator.

She let out a chuckle. "What are you thinking about?"

I shook my head, "Nothing!"

We entered the hotel room and got changed. She was so tired that she laid on the bed and complained, "I swear I'll only get married once in my life. This is too tiring."

I pursed my lips and looked down at my phone absent-mindedly.

It was only until Freya called out to me several times that I came back to my senses. I looked at her in confusion and asked, "What's wrong?"

She frowned, "I should be the one asking you what's wrong. You've been out of it since the elevator ride. What's on your mind?"

"Can you do me a favor?" I asked her.

"What is it?"

"My grandmother left me a sandalwood box before she passed on. At the time, I left it with Master Roberts and later on, before he passed on, he handed the box to me. But I didn't keep an eye on it, and Hendrix lost it. I figured the box wasn't lost, but it's with Valerie. And I guess Valerie most likely admitted her mistakes because of this box. Can you help me look for it in the Moore Family, or ask Valerie whether the box is still with her?"

She looked at me and hesitated for a moment, "Why are you suddenly thinking about that box?"

"I just suddenly remembered." It was best for Freya not to know about it just yet.

She didn't force me to talk when she saw that I had fallen silent. She only said, "Alright. I'll go to the Moore Family house to look for it."

I got up and thanked her after she agreed. It was getting late.

"Anne's still at the villa. I've got to head back."

Hendrix was not around when I came downstairs. I found a place to sit and was getting ready to leave when he returned.

The man's figure was slender and tall, a particularly eye- catching sight amongst the crowd.
