I shook my head.
He smiled. "And thus, you can't believe everything written in books."
Though I didn't particularly agree with that, I stopped talking.
By the time we got back to the villa, it was already very late.
The sky in Jarold City grew dark in the blink of an eye. Nerissa said that it was probably going to snow again.
Sure enough, as Nerissa said, it snowed heavily on the first day of the new year.
The entire room lit up brightly, surrounded by pure white snow.
I woke up very early the next morning. Well, to be exact, I did not sleep all night. Hendrix looked at me worriedly. "Are you sick?"
I shook my head and looked at him, "It's snowing. Be careful when you go out."
He nodded, checked the time, got up and went to the bathroom.
I got up as well and went to the balcony. The snow was particularly heavy. A lot of the trees in the yard had been crushed by the snow.
It was not the best time to be out right now.
As my body was pulled into a warm embrace, a familiar breath came over me. I looked back at him and asked, "Hendrix, is Josiah coming to pick Anne up these few days?"
He nodded and put his chin on my shoulder, "Anne is on her holiday now and she has been home for the past few days. We don't have time to take her out to play. So, it's good for her to go on a trip to Hanlusia City with Josiah.
