Yana turned serious and looked at me, "Have you thought of having another one? Anne is already five. If you are worried that she will overthink this, you can ask for her opinion. Perhaps she might also want a younger sibling?"

I smiled. "Hendrix and I plan to talk about this after the New Year. We've been busy recently and office work is piling up, so it's not the right time to think about this just yet."

The two of them looked at each other and exchanged a smile. Freya suddenly thought of Valerie. She looked at me and said, "By the way, I did not know Valerie was hospitalized because of appendicitis until I came back. I have to go and see her later."

She then shot me a glance. "After getting the sutures removed, she should be able to leave the hospital, right?"
