My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 871

Rowane was stunned. After sizing me up from head to toe, her eyes fell on the black shirt that I was wearing.

Her face grew pale, and she subconsciously bit her lips and held back her emotions.

I was surprised, "I'll blow dry my hair later." I didn't like to blow dry my hair with a hairdryer. I had no choice but to do so during winter, but I didn't want to do it during other seasons as it would damage my hair.

Upon hearing that, Hendrix frowned and narrowed his eyes. After a pause, he looked at Rowane and said, "Leave the Al promotion to the Marketing Department. You should look for Evan for the other matters."

Rowane had her brows furrowed. She glanced at me and told him, "Mr. Roberts, these are all things that have to go through you..."

"Go!" Hendrix interrupted her. He looked at me and raised his hand, "Come here!"

When I walked up to him, Rowane probably thought that I was her nemesis, so she glared at me gloomily.

She then left angrily.

"If you don't dry your hair, you'll catch a cold," Hendrix said in a low, hoarse voice as he drew me closer to his chest.

As he spoke, he took the towel from my hand and began drying my hair.

I nodded and looked down at my somewhat long fingernails. I hadn't cut them for a long time, and it was probably time to do so.

I discovered that he was staring at me. His gaze was cold and gentle, and the whirlpool in his irises seemed to be able to swallow people whole.

"Is there anything on my face?" That was my instinctive reaction. I raised my hand to wipe my face and couldn't help but feel a little confused.

He laughed and there was a flicker of light in his eyes.

"There's nothing on your face!" As he spoke, his face grew into a smile.

I nodded and thought for a moment before saying, "Let's go for lunch later, shall we?"

"What do you want to eat?"
