My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 889

The man was taken aback and quickly grew suspicious. He eyed her and asked, "What do you mean by 'volunteer'?"

The sprightly lady said, "Well, I'm sure there are some girls here who wouldn't be too keen on doing that. If they don't want to, don't force them into it. Why don't you just go with those who are willing to play along?"

The man looked surprised at her suggestion. He looked to the men behind him, and then looked back at us.

He asked again, "Is there anyone of you who'd want to?"

The sprightly one smiled slightly, as she replied. "That'd be me!"

The man puffed up for a moment before he frowned again, regarding her suspiciously. "Don't play games with me!"

Her voice dropped. "Listen, my hands and feet are both tied up. What could I possibly do? And it's been a few days. I haven't eaten or slept well. I don't know when I'll drop dead. At these crossroads, the only thing that matters is staying alive, my virginity doesn't matter anymore."

In the midst of her speech, her voice turned even more sincere. "I know that you're just doing your job. I couldn't just beg you to let me go. Since that's not an option, I won't waste my breath. I just think that before I die, if I could take a bath, drink some water, and have enough to eat, I'd have no regrets. With all that on the line, if I go with you and spend time with you, I'd be the one to benefit the most. Aren't I right, handsome?"

Having said her piece, she looked at the man pleadingly.

Upon considering what she said, the man nodded, thinking that her suggestion did sound reasonable. Looking at the others, he smiled and asked, "How many of you are willing? If you listen to me, I'll get you something to eat. You'll just have to keep us company for a while."

It was a general understanding that women would normally shy away from these things. But in that moment, as the brave lady's eyes fell on us, it felt unreasonable to deny ourselves of this opportunity.

I hesitated for a moment before saying, "I'll do it!"

"Alright!" The man cheered, "Nice, I like it!"

Soon, other girls started to volunteer as well.
