I sighed. "Naomi, thank you. I'll visit you tomorrow and treat you to some good food."
"No!" She asked curiously, "Since you and Hendrix are husband and wife, why are you acting like strangers? Did he do something you can't accept? Or did you both do not love each other at all? Although some other couples may not love each other very much, they still would not behave like you!"
I pursed my lips. "It's not that. I don't have anything to do with him anymore. We could be considered as divorced."
She was a little irritable. "Arianna, let me ask you. Hendrix is a priceless gem of a man! Why did you push him away so much?"
I couldn't stand her nosy behavior and answered, "I just don't love him anymore."
Feeling annoyed, I cut her off. "Naomi, I have something to do now. Rest well, and I'll go to visit you tomorrow."
I hung up and felt a gaze on me. Sebastian was staring at me when I looked up.
I couldn't help frowning and said, "Mr. Milton, you're driving! Look ahead."
He looked away and said indifferently, "I'm as curious as Naomi is. You seem to be hiding from Hendrix all the time. Why?"
I pursed my lips. "Mr. Milton, since when have you enjoyed prying into other's private life?"
He shrugged and smiled. "I'm just curious. By the way, after the project is settled, we're going to Jarold City. Don't forget our agreement from Myanway."
I was stunned for a moment and replied, "Got it!" He wanted Grandma's sandalwood box.
The car stopped at the entrance of the Greenland Hotel. It was still early, so Sebastian took me for a meal in the restaurant next door.
A lot of people had arrived at the large auction hall. It was inevitable that we would meet some others from the business world, and someone came to greet Sebastian.
