My Quick-witted Baby novel Chapter 39

Chapter 39

Arabella was worried about Kenneth, so she hastily threw back the covers and scrambled out of bed. She looked for Kenneth in the room but couldn't find him.

Did he go out?

"Kenneth? Kenneth? Ah!"

The door to the bathroom was suddenly pulled open, and a large, long hand poked out, catching her slender arm and pulling her in.

She was pinned against the door, and Arabella then saw the person in front of her. It was Kenneth.

Kenneth had taken the cold shower several times. His black shirt and black pants were all wet, and water kept dripping down from his short dark hair.

Covered in a watery mist, Kenneth looked extraordinarily handsome and sex.

"Are you looking for me?" Kenneth's voice was very hoarse.

Arabella raised her hand and touched his forehead. His forehead was even hotter than before. It seemed that Sharon really longed to have a great-grandson, and the tonic she prepared for Kenneth this time was very strong.

"Let me help you!" Arabella took a silver needle in her hand and wanted to help ease the uncomfortable feeling of Kenneth.

Kenneth, however, clasped her slender wrist and then buried his handsome face in her neck. "Bella, I'm feeling so uncomfortable," he whispered.

Arabella's heart missed a beat. She had never expected that Kenneth, such a strong and domineering man, would also be clingy like a kid.

"Bella, I've taken the cold shower several times, but I just feel so hot. I was supposed to stay here alone, but why did you come to me?"

He murmured in a husky voice by her ear, and Arabella's heart softened.

"I... I didn't mean to disturb you. I can leave if you want."

Kenneth interrupted her. "You are always like this, Bella. Abandon me after you titillate me! But do you think that you can still get out of here this time?"
