My Quick-witted Baby novel Chapter 56

Chapter 56

Jared looked at Kenneth. “Isn't Arabella still jealous? You didn’t make Sadie disappear and still want to use her to stimulate Arabella?”

Kenneth leaned his stiff back on the sofa and gracefully swirled the wine glass in his hand. He liked seeing her jealous. Only when she was jealous would she, who had always been beautiful and intelligent, lose her sense of decency and display the unreasonableness and arrogance a girl would have.

She was a coward. Therefore, if Kenneth did not provoke her with Sadie, she would never open her heart to let him in.

Melvin and Leia's engagement would be held tonight. Leia was as pleased as punch and called Arabella to remind her not to forget tonight's engagement. At the same time, she asked Arabella to come and witness her happiness in person.

Arabella replied with a smile. Of course, she would not be absent from tonight's engagement. She even prepared a mysterious gift.

At this time, Sharon came over and said, “Bella, I need to tell you something. I’ll go to the temple to pray for blessings later so that you’ll give birth to my great-grandson soon. I also have to live on the mountain for a few days so I won’t come back. Call Ken and tell him to come back to accompany you as soon as possible.”

“I got it.”

Once Sharon left, Arabella took out her phone. She genuinely did not want to call Kenneth.

After he left the presidential suite at the bar that night, he never returned, and the two never contacted each other again.

However, since Sharon had instructed her, Arabella should call and let him know.

Arabella dialed his cell phone number. After the melodious bell rang once, the call was connected without haste.

Kenneth’s deep and alluring voice floated into her ear. “Hello.”

Arabella grasped the phone with her slender fingers. “Mr. Lucero, Grandma asked me to tell you that she’s gone to the temple to pray for blessings. Also, she will stay there for a few days before coming back.”

“What else did she say?”
