Exasperated, Eudora said, "Alright, stop the flattery. I'll go up and take a look first!"

Shortly afterwards, a throng of people entered the company and went upstairs.

The security guard, who was new to the company, was left confused.

A large group of people accompanied Eudora all the way to the president's office. However, there was not a single person near his office. Everyone was too scared to stay there.

Everyone was still scared, so they said, "Thank you, we're not hungry!"

Eudora thought for a moment that perhaps she should let Amos give them the desserts as a gift, hence she casually took them back.

Everyone watched as Eudora entered Amos's office, and then waited with bated breath for the results.

"The last time Mrs. Granger came to appease President Granger was more than ten years ago. Now that so many years have passed, can she still do it effectively?"

"I think she can do it!"

"No, we have to send someone to have a look."

"I'm not going!" Everyone retreated in unison as none of them wished to go forward.

In the end, a senior manager gazed at a secretary, who was on probation.

His voice sounded so sweet and tender. He also seemed thrilled at Eudora's arrival, which contrasted greatly to his demeanor before she had come to the company.

All of them stared disbelievingly at him.
