Eudora could feel as though blood was seeping from her heart.

If she had a choice, she hoped that she was already marooned in hell.

She wanted to stand upright and tell Amos to his face that she didn't love him anymore, but those words couldn't seem to fall out of her mouth.

Eudora took a deep breath and clutched her arms around Fabian's waist.
