When Aunt Valerie saw the scene after she got back home, she was shocked. "What happened? I will call a doctor..."

"No! It's fine!" Eudora George said, "Can you please take a towel for me? He will be fine after a while."

Aunt Valerie was a bit doubtful of Eudora's words but she seemed to be very confident in what she was doing . She wiped Amos Granger gently with a damp towel. After seeing Amos had gotten better, Eudora was relieved.

Aunt Valerie was stunned. "How is this possible..."

Eudora, who had poor health, almost fainted as she had been too worried and exhausted because of Amos.

Aunt Valerie quickly helped her back to her bed, and then looked at Amos who was breathing normally. Aunt Valerie shook her head and said, "Miss George, please have a good rest. I will stay here with him."

Eudora nodded but she was still worried, she said," Please do not touch him."

Aunt Valerie nodded. "Certainly."

Eudora fell asleep peacefully. It was only because she knew that Aunt Valerie, having worked for them for a long time, was a reliable person.

By the time she woke up again, it was already the second day.

She felt much better after she had taken a rest. However, she felt a little restricted on the bed. As she moved a little, she found out that a big hand was holding her waist.

Eudora was surprised that she almost jumped up.

The man behind her held her down and said, "Let's sleep a little longer."

Upon hearing Amos' voice, Eudora breathed a sigh of relief. "Why did you climb into my bed?"

"I can’t sleep well on the sofa because it doesn't have your scent.” There was a trace of mischievousness in his deep voice.

Eudora was convinced by him, then she recalled the rashes on his body. She turned around and opened up his collar to check.

When she saw that the rashes had subsided, she let out a sigh of relief.

The man grabbed her wrist and touched the tip of her nose with his. "I may not be able to control myself if you do this..."

Eudora blushed and said, "I haven't asked you yet. Why did you have those rashes last night? Did you have contact with any woman?"

Amos could not hide his happiness as he saw the little lady making threatening gestures in front of him. “Are you jealous?”asked Amos.

"I am not jealous. I didn't care about you. I almost threw you out yesterday. You can ask Aunt Valerie about this." said Eudora.

"Wow, so scary." The happiness in Amos' eyes deepened. "If you had thrown me out, how did I recover?" asked Amos. "How am I supposed to know? Maybe you are not allergic to some other women ? "

"And you said you’re not jealous?" Amos reached out and pinched the tip of her nose gently. "This room is filled with sour scent because of your jealousy."

Eudora pouted and said, "I don't want to talk to you!"

After a while, Amos said, "Are you really going to ignore me? I'll leave then."

He got up after saying that.

In a split second, Eudora reached out and grabbed his arm. "I allow you to hug me."

Upon hearing this, Amos lay down on the bed again and hugged her. When they were enjoying each other’s presence, Harley Louis entered the room.

He cursed his heart as if he had seen something that he should not have. He then covered his eyes and said, "I did not see anything."

Eudora blushed and hurriedly hid herself inside the quilt. At the same time, Amos sat up calmly and frowned slightly.

"You'd better have something urgent to tell me!"

Harley couldn't help but feel a chill on his back. "Is closing up a case considered urgent?” asked Harley.

Amos frowned slightly and asked, "Are you sure you've investigated thoroughly?"

Harley was stunned. "Do you have any other clues?"

Eudora was curious as she listened to their conversation. "Are you guys talking about the car accident?"

"Yes!" Amos replied faintly, then reached out and pressed her down. "Have a good rest. I'll go out for a while and I'll be back soon."
