Nash turned his head and realized Zaafea was nowhere to be seen.
"Hey, where's Zaafea?" Nash asked in confusion.
"Oh, Master said he was hungry and went to get something to eat," Deluca replied.
"Eat? Does that guy even need to eat?"
...
In the grandest luxury viewing box, Sycamore sat quietly.
Opposite him, Zaafea was munching on some fruit.
"Ruin," Sycamore began, breaking the silence. "I don't recall you ever being the type to help others out of the goodness of your heart."
Zaafea, who was now full, leisurely lay back on the couch and yawned. He showed no intention of responding to Sycamore's query.
"Hey! Our great emperor is talking to you! Are you deaf?" a burly man grabbed Zaafea, attempting to pull him up.
"Who the hell are you? Can't you let me finish my nap first?" Zaafea squinted at him.
"What?!" The burly man was about to punch Zaafea but found himself unable to move.
At that moment, Sycamore tapped his staff on the ground and said sternly, "No need to be rude. He's my honored guest."
The burly man was visibly nervous and quickly backed down. Seeing Sycamore intervene, Zaafea released his hold on the man and lay back down on the couch. The man hurried to Sycamore's side, apologizing profusely.
"You shouldn't be apologizing to me!" Sycamore's voice carried authority.
Realizing his mistake, the burly man quickly turned to Zaafea, but he was waved off.
