My Substitute CEO Bride (Nash Calicraft) novel Chapter 1997

"Alright, let’s have our next participant."

The general shouted out loud, "Wait! We haven't decided the winner yet."

Zaafea bared his teeth and smirked. "Damn, why are you… Ah, forget it. Old man, I’m leaving. You handle it."

"Yes, please go ahead."

He then returned to the viewing platform.

Everyone looked nervously at the arena.

The general sat on the ground in fear. Only then did he realize how reckless he had been. He apologized profusely, "Sorry, I'm sorry. I'm leaving now."

"Don't panic. The general can be resurrected again. Just..." No. 10 looked at the scene in front of him in disbelief.

No one had time to be shocked as they knew that the worst outcome had happened.

"Now that this has happened, do we…?" Jake asked.

"No, this old man is here. We can't make too big a fuss now. Damn it, damn it! He could have survived. Isn't that old guy neutral? He just attacked!" No. 10 was utterly displeased.

"No. 10, calm down. It’s not like we have no escape route now. After Ace and the others succeed, we'll turn it on directly. Calm down," Jake said.

No. 10 nodded. "Alright."
