The sound wave hit, causing Alfius' eyes to roll back in shock.
Rodney hurriedly swung his twin blades at the winged Crow. Unfortunately, just as he was within arm’s reach, a bolt of lightning struck him and rendered him unconscious.
"It’s over!" The winged Crow thrust his spear forward, but at that moment, Alfius suddenly vanished from in front of him.
"Where did he go? Who’s there?" The winged Crow turned around.
It was the young man in black who had previously claimed to be Alfius' subordinate. He had rescued the two.
"Who are you? Be careful, or I’ll turn you into grilled chicken."
"I knew it," said one of the taller black-clad figures who was stretching his limbs. "In the end, we still need to take action. Was all this disguise really necessary? Mosley!"
The shorter black-clad youth yawned and listlessly replied, "Oh, you don’t understand. A lot of the fantasy dramas I watched are like this. They show a bunch of black-clad servants.
"Besides, I already told you that we can't expose our identities, Master Nash. It's hard enough to avoid those spies. Don’t blow our cover now."
"Don’t lecture me. Fine, I won't care about anything else, but I can deal with these two now, right?" Nash said.
"Yes. There’s no one around. Go ahead, Master Nash. It’s up to you—oh!" Before Mosley could finish, Nash punched him on the head.
“Ouch, ouch, ouch, what are you doing, Master Nash?” Mosley asked, rubbing his head.
“You go,” Nash suddenly said.
“Me? Didn’t you say you’d show off your skills? Why are you suddenly making me go?”
“Stop whining and go,” Nash said, kicking Mosley toward the winged Crow.
