“Engulf!”
The demon with a large mouth from just now appeared and engulfed the wine demon’s flames.
Before the two even had a chance to catch their breaths, the wine demon summoned a crowd of demons to attack them.
Ply picked up her gun.
As the gunshots rang out, the demons running at the very front fell to the ground. However, that did not stop the rest of the demons from racing toward the two to attack them.
Ply began reloading her gun, and Mosley hurriedly dragged her away.
“Gosh, girl, you’ll never be able to shoot them all! Hurry, run!”
The two hurriedly ran toward the exit.
However, the wine demon arrived at the gates before they managed to. The two were instantly surrounded by demons.
“Gosh, are they going to take it this far?” Mosley complained.
“We have no other choice!” Ply said as she took her shirt off, revealing the bullets and pyrotechnics strapped to her body.
“Holy shit, when did you prepare all this?” Mosley asked, shocked.
“Don’t get all hung up on that. These pyrotechnics were custom-made to attack demons. Use your true energy to protect yourself, and then go meet up with Alfius…” Ply said without paying heed to Mosley.
Mosley interrupted, “Wait. Why am I the only one meeting him? What about you?”
“This is the most effective plan as of now. If I die alongside them…”
“Stop, stop, stop!” Mosley cried out. “I didn’t put so much work into saving you just to have you die now.”
“Well then, what else can we do? Don't you see that massive demon in front of us? That’s the leader of the wine demons—”
“Alright, alright,” Mosley hurriedly interjected.
“We can talk about that later. Gosh, no wonder this place has ended up becoming a gathering spot for resentment. Who on earth would be able to stand you guys when you’re always one step away from dying alongside others?”
Then, Mosley brought his hands together.
“Blessings, Woes.”
Two humanoid demons burrowed out from beneath the ground.
“A king demon, is he? Let’s see what he’s got. With blessings and woes as sacrifices, I’ll summon… everything!”
Immediately, jet-black marks spread across Mosley’s body. He released all the demons he had collected while working as a Judge. The grandiosity of that scene was no less than what the king demon produced.
