Kai curled his fingers into a fist and hurled it toward Duncan’s face. 

Duncan calmly raised a hand, grabbing Kai’s fist.

Duncan threw his head back and roared with laughter. He was unbelievably happy.

Outside the mansion, Nash and Xeno watched as Kai walked dazedly out of the mansion while looking like a zombie. 

His pants were covered in dirt, and there was dried blood on the corners of his mouth.
