As Maeve hesitated, the door to the lounge suddenly opened. Larry walked in with a plate of cheesecake slices. 

Maeve replied, “I’ve got something else to attend to now. I’ll get in touch with you tonight.”

Marve ended the call. 

Larry placed the plate of cheesecake in front of her. “Mr. Brooks has ordered this for you, Mrs. Brooks. He said that it’s your favorite.” Maeve glanced at the cheesecake. She used to enjoy it, sure, but how did Sergio know? He had never paid attention to her preferences before. “Thank you. I’ll rest here for a while. Just let me know when he’s done.”
