Maeve dropped the cup of coffee in her hand. Zion bent down to clean the stain on her heels. 

“Sorry, I’m late.” Zion lowered his voice. 

It was rare for Marve to see Zion in this state. He was choked up, and his eyes were full of guilt

is he?

Zion replied nonchalantly, “He’s still on the plane.” 

Lyra was speechless.

Maeve asked, “You’ve been away for so many days. What h
