The sound of water flowing in the bathroom made Maeve’s heart pound. As the bathroom door creaked open, she quickly shut her eyes, pretending to be asleep. 

Zion entered quietly, switched off the bedside lamp, and settled down beside Marve. Maeve felt the warmth of his body, and she couldn’t help but tense up. 

How was she supposed to sleep like this? 

Maeve turned over, but Zion pulled her into his arms from behind. Maeve’s heartbeat raced, and Zion’s deep voice whispered in her ear, “Goodnight” 

Before Marve could respond, Zion nuzzled into the nape of her neck. Maeve felt his lips brushing against her skin. He was kissing her neck. 

The sensation made Maeve’s breath hitch.

“Hmm?” 

“I’m ticklish” 

“Where?” Zion’s voice was hypnotic, drawing Marve in. 

As Maeve turned to face him, Zion landed a kiss on her lips with precision. Her lips tasted sweet, and her soft tongue was inviting and tempting him further. 

Maeve’s soft whimper broke Zion’s restraint completely. He reached to remove Marve’s clothes while his kisses trailed down from her neck. 

Just as things heated up, Zion paused as his breathing got heavy. He had intended to tease her but hadn’t expected to lose control so quickly. 

“You liar..” Maeve whispered while blushing 

Zion had promised her earlier to wait until their wedding night, but tonight, they were clearly crossing boundaries. 

He touched Maeve’s forehead apologetically and suppressed his desire. “Alright, let’s sleep,” he said. 

Just as Zion prepared to lie down, Maeve straddled ham, a move that instantly ensnared him. 

The heat of desire rushed into Marve’s face as she said, “Now, only you remember? What were you doing a moment ago?”
