A Widow's Poison A Wife's Rebellion novel Chapter 568

Everyone was pushing her, cornering her from all sides. She wished she could just die and be done with it.

Just then, the hospital called again about the baby, and she felt like she was on the verge of a complete breakdown.

Brinley had heard Fairfax was back. After hanging up, she went to find him. The child was still legally Faraday’s, so even if they saw her as a shameless woman, they couldn't just abandon the baby.

But just as she reached the door, a photo arrived from Felix. Brinley opened it, and her eyes widened in shock.

It was Starla… with Justin Gass! The very doctor her child desperately needed. And Starla… knew him?

In the photo, Justin and Starla stood close together, both smiling warmly. To Starla’s other side was another man, but his face was blurred out, making it impossible to identify him. Yet, even his silhouette exuded an air of importance.

But who that man was didn't matter. What mattered was Starla and Justin, together in the same picture. And all this time, she had said nothing. She knew they desperately needed Justin. She knew they were frantically searching for that old man, trying every possible way to bring him to Marina City. But she had kept silent, watching them all agonize over the baby’s fate.

Such a tiny, helpless child… still fighting for his life in the ICU.

Forgetting her plan to find Fairfax, Brinley felt a wave of suffocation as she went to confront Starla instead.

Starla was in her study, having just finished a video conference. When she saw Brinley storm in, she arched an eyebrow. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“You know Justin?” Brinley demanded.

“I do. What about it?” Starla’s tone was brazenly indifferent. She had nothing to fear now. Whatever they accused her of, she would simply admit. The entire Yelchin family was powerless against her, so she didn’t care what they knew.
